I'm using the original cable to the 2600, original everything. TV has a
perfect picture of local channels (it is not hooked up to any TV cable,
etc.) All cables and cord for the 2600 including the game/tv switch box
look to be fine. When I put the TV on channel 3 and switch from TV to Game
there is no change on the TV screen at all except for a very brief snowy
image of an atari game which I could not get it to do again. I'm wondering
perhaps if either the the channel 3 is just not working for some reason, or
if it is the actual game/tv switchbox that is bad. Do they still sell those
at Radio Shack and if so how much do you think they are? I could try one
and see if it is the problem. I'd sure like to set this up and play it
again after all these years. Last time I used it was about 5 years ago.
