   I dunno who all still subscribes to this newsgroup but wanted to pass along   
   the info that the guy making the bbs documentary appears to be done and   
   shipping the product.   
      
   Just mentioning it because Frank LaRosa is in a few peices of it, nothing   
   earth shattering but you can tell those cons boardwatch used to have left a   
   bad taste with him.   
      
   The whole thing is interesting to watch, and incredibly boring at the same   
   time (probably 6-7 hours with all the bonus clips. Best taken in small bits.   
      
   I think there was way too much time spent with the ascii-art and fidonet   
   aspects, but is just my opinion.   
      
   Keep an eye out for it if you don't want to spend the $50, seen it on some   
   of the alt.binaries.* and bit-torrent systems. Only warning (besides the   
   obvious) is none of them are complete. Each dvd (there are 3 of them) have 2   
   or 3 chapters and a bonus area. Disc 3 has both plus "1000's of still   
   images" that are supposed to be read via dvd-rom drive. Alot of the uploads   
   are just the 8 main chapters, no bonus material or stills, some have all 8   
   chapters with the bonus material from each disc in a single avi file. Even   
   the full 4.5 gig images are missing the pix from disc 3.   
      
   Or just spend the $50 and waste a friday night with a marathon.
