From: jsisker@sprynet.com              I have the CD-ROM "Walt Disney - an intimate History of the Man and his       Magic." It worked on my old computer, using Windows 98 (se). However, it       seems there is no way to get this to fun on newer computers using Windows       XP. Even trying to use the various compatibility modes, I always get a       Motion Pixels Codec error message after it loads and after the introduction       video. Unfortunately, Motion Pixels is out of business.              I don't think it would take much to update this software to run on newer       computers, and/or a possible patch or fix that could be downloaded. I would       hate to see such a detailed and valuable source on Walt's life, just sit on       the shelf because technology passed it by.              Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?              Thanks,       John Sisker       jsisker@sprynet.com       (714) 536-3850              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
