   Is it just me, or do the Canadian groups who claim they support gun ownership   
   in Canada fail in their self assigned task?   
      
   This election, CSSA decides to help the cause by bringing the NRA to Canada.   
   This creates a five day media blitz that hurts the Conservatives.   
      
   James Moore and Vic Toews have already made comments in the media backing away   
   from gun owners.   
      
   NFA takes the approach that to solve the problem of increased shooting deaths   
   in Ontario that we should arm women with handguns so they can shoot back.   
      
   Looking at who is being shot on Toronto streets, it is gang members using   
   illegal guns who are shooting at other gang members.   
      
   If women armed with guns were to start shooting back, they would likely become   
   a target and risk shooting death.   
      
   None of the gun lobby seem to have the political skill to understand that   
   Canada is not the United States.   
      
   Not one of them has understood that a Canadian fundamental today in politics   
   is to be anti-American.   
      
   So to offer as solutions what will be seen as pro-American ideas and solutions   
   is to offer the Liberals life in what should be a campaign that ends their   
   dynasty.   
      
   Both major gun lobby groups are out of touch with Canadian values.   
      
   A task for all gun owners should be to create a Canadian hunting and shooting   
   association.   
      
   We have all seen the failures of the current groups, now it is time for good   
   shooters with a solid backing in what is needed to come forward.
