   Yes you heard right.  Originally Gcomm made a Unix/Linux version of MBBS but   
   it never sold very many copies.  (In 12 years I've only ever come across one   
   person who had a copy of it and wouldn't open the box to let me check it   
   out.).  There has never been a c/s version (worldgroup) for UNIX released   
   although Stryker played around a bit with a port before he passed.  At that   
   time it was believed that MS was going to take a larger slice of the   
   backbone pie and a UNIX version would have been a waste of resource.   
      
   Sorry pal, but your best hope at WG x.xx on UNIX/Linux is an emulator either   
   w32 emu for debian or UNIX for windows if you want to go the other   
   direction.  If you ever come across the UNIX version of MBBS I'd love to   
   know.  I'm still searching.  I sampled it quite a bit at gcomm in Florida,   
   and at Majorware in Toronto and loved it.  When combined with a half decent   
   user accounting and management system in UNIX it's sharp and seemed to be   
   much more stable than a windows turnkey solution.
